The Oppiliappan Koil is located at Thiru Nageswaram near Kumbakonam in the Thanjavur district of Tmail Nadu. The easiest approach is by a taxi, auto, or bus from from Kumbakonam which is about 4 miles from here. There are many places available in Kumbakonam to stay at as it a semi urban town with all boarding and lodging facilities. Kumbakonam town can be reached by any train plying between Madras and Trichy.
